It was never a surprise to the painted woman that Resplendence took to her job like a duck to water. For all of her flighty tendencies and fears of this and that, injuries never seemed to bother the fallen angel and she always knew what herb would be best to fix this or that. It also didn't really surprise the painted queen that, given the situation, she was more or less ignored. And while she did have a tendency to enjoy being the center of attention, she wasn't at all concerned about that right now. As the man was ordered up from the ground, and assistance nearly demanded from Resplendence's mouth, Kahlua went to move forward, but Aaron was there before she could get a step in, the commotion at the border having obviously drawn the attention of several other members of the herd as well. Actually, Kahlua was impressed with the showing. While she was still nervous, Kahlua eventually was able to contain her shifting and rocking, leaving herself to just stand and watch the work as it was performed. It was a shame that, for all that Resplendence knew, she would never be able to learn any of it. She had tried- it just didn't stick. Instead, she decided to take this time to watch the stallion, assuming that Eva had brought him here to join, taking in his demeanor and trying to decide if he would be a worthy denizen of the land. Even in his illness, he managed to avoid yelling and fighting, biting or snapping- he seemed calm, collected. Not that any of this was easy for the girl to discover. It took her a long time to think of this, to consider it, to mull it over. Still, the queen was learning... or trying to learn, which was better than nothing at all. “Let me know if I can gather anything for you, Res,” she offered in the end, knowing that if Res provided her one sample she would be able to collect more of the same type, as they had after the invasion.
