The cold has been a nice blanket since the darkness receded back into Hell. Tangere abandoned all interactions, correspondences and responsibilities – she’s wandered the tundra with her pale bird, mumbling and letting her thoughts play with madness and demons. The bird keeps flying away for days, it’s attempting to get her away but she will do nothing but nap and walk…eating and drinking very sparsely. The silver unicorn is convinced her companion has come broken; glitched somehow because of the evil that swallowed her home and mutated familiar faces into monstrous things. She ignores it’s squawking and flying away, continuing her rather drone like behavior. Somehow she’s managed to stay plump and her fuzzy fur oddly healthy. Though the lack of ‘bird appropriate’ food has her adolescent travel partner looking rather malnourished…he looks tired as he sits with his claws grasping a few braids draped over her withers.

This morning the snow has started to fall in suffocating clumps, swirling with the strong gusts of wind that seem to breath and curl around the mountains. She is above the Arch, walking the winding pathways carved into the sides of the cliffs. To stay on these paths would be suicidal and her bird screeches with anticipation that his mare-friend has completely lost it, and he must do the thinking for both of them. She snaps at him, “Shhh” Her mind seeps into his – “It’s fine, we’ll just go into there…” The bird’s wings flap defiantly, but he does not answer, only flying away to swoop down into the Arch cavern.

His wings silently carry him through the opening, he’s low, flying carefully just over the icy ground until he lands at the feet of Illynx. The ruffled, skinny, white raven peers at her with his glassy black eyes, head cocked to the side. He blinks a few times and makes no noise, just looking.

“Ah.” Warmth brushes the cold from her marbled silver coat and she slips into the mouth of room they stand in with a rare, but honest grin marking her lips. The pale bird jumps upward and propels himself with a few flaps back onto his mare’s withers, settling to looks across the faces of the group they stand among. “’Lo, Ill.” She nods to the other two, her mocha eyes squinting slightly as they move over the stallion’s features. “Everyone.” Her nod is proper, but hollow, she lacks social appropriate social skill; letting her behavior display exactly as her mind feels. Tangere can see the expression flickering in the gold banded woman’s eyes; the silver unicorn lets a chuckle bubble from her throat, trailing her soft eyes to the pale unicorn. Quickly though, as to not draw too much attention to one’s self, she spits something out. “And how is the Basin as of late, my Lady?” She says this quietly, as to not interrupt..Though she is unaware her and her weird ass bird have already bombarded the situation. “I miss it.” She adds this almost inaudibly, as if fearing a return or something melodramatic like that. Fate, and the bird, have brought her here; obviously the Basin is where she belongs.
