Vesta was standing at the Oasis, the morning air crisp as it ran through her feathers. Her wings were extended wide, basking in the rays of the sun as they worked to warm the desert. The winter was coming to its end, but the cold grip it had on the night was still heavy, dominating the rest of Helovia as well. Vesta, and her gypsy heart, were always ones to greet the day at the break of dawn, seafoam eyes running over the clouds and the sunrise. Nights were the time of rest, and when the morning rose again on the horizon, it was a time of action.

Vesta's life had been filled with travel, coming to and from to live vaguely as a whisper upon the earth. She had no home, Loorien had been her's and her family's to travel--until after their massacre and her trek into Helovia. She still remembered the day she crashed into the Threshold and was brought home by Gaucho, greeted by Kri and welcomed among her brothers in arms, and finally, healed by her daughter Onni. Vesta, though silent about her feelings towards the day, was thankful. Her traumatized mind had not lasted long in the desert, but she was here, and she called it home, and she was ready to prove her worth.

Her ears perked up and she looked to the sky, wings flexing gently as she watched the blue lightning-mare descend and circle. Vesta smiled. Just in time. Vesta turned away from the Oasis and cantered several yards before launching herself into the sky. Her wings beat down heavily, skillfully lifting her into the sky. She angled herself to circle opposite of Ampere as the queen called out her name. The blue and black mare was built very similar to Kri, very similar to herself, and Vesta knew this would be a match of vikings, no matter how friendly it seemed upon the dawn. Stretching her wings and gaining altitude, Vesta rose above where Ampere had been circling. Vesta stayed behind her and on the side of the sunrise, putting the star behind her back so that Ampere was in the shadow of her vision. "Shall we begin the dance?" Her voice was a teasing trill upon the wind, and she leveled her wings to glide lightly.

[Here we go! Thanks blu!!]

V E S T A
Cause she's just like the weather, can't hold her together
Born from dark water, daughter of the rain and snow
No more dreaming like a girl so in love with the wrong world
