Flesh. You feel it under your hoof as the metal beats against her, as your buck is met with a spongy backdrop, as your useless leg follows your body but will not kick. Still, one useless limb could be worse. You could have a mangled face. As your hooves touch the ground again, as you begin to turn to face Red, you wonder if you could hate one horse any more than you hate Eris in this moment. It's almost the hate you felt when you were sober and fighting Elsa, the hate you felt when you thought of Kellian and the Captain cuddling close as they outcast you. Almost, and yet somehow this is more real, because you still feel it when you are high. This emotion is not drowned out, not hidden. It is raw and alive, burning through your veins, pulsing with every beat of your heart, fueling your actions and driving you on even as your body begs for a rest. But you will not rest. You will not stop until you know your enemy has fallen, has been battered beneath your hooves and has submitted to your every whim. You have found Red's taste for blood, now you need it sated.

Come play with me Oxy. You want to answer her, to scream, to reminder her that last time she tried to play games you did not fall for her tricks. You want to remind her failed attempt to seduce you under the guise of naming you General. But one cannot seduce a man with no heart. Besides, your chest heaves too strongly for you to find words right now. You need oxygen like an dragon needs his fire and no matter how much you gasp you cannot keep enough in your lungs to fulfill your body's requirements. For all your training, you still have not found great endurance. A large body does not so readily stay in motion.

But where she pauses, a lack of training evident in her motions, you do not. You keep going, keep turning, fighting against the pain and your hindered gait. You keep going because you are strong, you will stay strong, and because Eris is weak and she always has been. Even in battle she speaks of seducing you, of taking your plants and having them for her own when you do not want to share. She is no warrior. A warrior puts the needs of battle above needs of self. You are a real specimen, a prized warrior. That is why you're sure you'll win.

Whatever happens with her attack, you do not know, but you give her no mercy. She has tried to come upon you and failed, tried to attack you from behind once more, her mangled face apparently not enough of a reminder to her. You want to buck out, to smash her again with your shoes, but your shoulders beg for reprieve and it is a tired trick at this point anyway. As you were already halfway turned, you just keep rotating, hopefully managing to turn to face her before she rushes past you. If you have positioned yourself as you have hoped to, your left shoulder will be next to hers. You simply take the opportunity to lunge to the left, to try and barrel yourself into her, potentially smashing your bag and plants against her side but it would be worth the destruction. You do not try to bite, your nose already preoccupied with trying to gulp air into your lungs. Besides, you are tired, so very tired, and even as you finish lunging you know that you are done.

You are sure that Red knows your superiority, sure that she will not come back for another round of destruction. Either she has learned her lesson or she is a mentally handicapped moron. You suppose you'll find out which in the coming moments. But you trust yourself enough to take a real break now. Every pulsing, bounding sensation of pain drives you to one purpose- drugs. Your magic is not enough. It is good, a substitute for the real thing, but it is not the real thing, and your stomach craves the Locoweed. One, two, three or more plants slide into your mouth, even precious oxygen forgotten for the moment it takes you to grab them. But it is worth it in the end, when you feel their sweet juices sliding down your throat and into your stomach. Sweet rapture, sweet glory, sweet drugs. Your life is complete.
