DALIBOR
I am someone to hate

Weary and burdened with his own thoughts, Dalibor did not see the dark male moving about below, nor did he care to pay attention to the ginormously-winged female he noted was cruising the sky nearby. That is, until a shriek rang out into the air, a primal, pained call the warrior felt reverberate deeply in his chest like it was his own voice being ripped from his throat once more.

Like it was he that had made the horrible sound.

A memory violently overtook him and Dalibor's flight halted like he'd been struck down from the sky, his fall barely broken by self-preservation instinct he'd developed over the years. As he slammed into the ground, throwing up snow in a terribly ungraceful crash, he felt no pain. Hooves twitched for a few moments more as the visions raced through his brain, firing nerves and synapses viciously, taking him right back to those horrible moment's he'd wailed in agony over his love's bleeding and dying body, knowing he was losing not only her but the life they had created together that still remained in her swollen belly.

Azulee's voice broke the flashback he didn't wish to have and for that he was eternally grateful. Gingerly picking himself up, the stallion looked around and found he had not landed very close to those he could hear speaking - thankfully. Maybe they'd missed his meteoric fall. He doubted that. Dalibor's ears perked up when he heard Africa's name, a certain...protectiveness curling in his chest. What did this large one want with her? To speak to her? Why?

Was that jealousy?

The fuck? Dalibor frowned. He had no reason to feel such an emotion. Africa and he had spoken but once, and briefly. There was nothing. They had nothing.

He had nothing.

Still. His walk slow, deliberate, weighted, he came closer to where this 'friend' Windwalker was and eyed him, hawkish gaze not missing the pathetic tufts of feathers alighting on the black beast's shoulders. Were his wings missing? Malformed? Ripped out? How do you know Africa? he wondered, but neglected to speak aloud. Dalibor felt maybe he didn't wish to know that answer. How did you know he wanted Africa from a mere wail? he wondered more pertinently about Azulee's deduction, but didn't care all that much to find out. A silent sentinel, Dalibor opted to merely watch and learn.
