 if you don't have a weapon you can't have mine The landscape of the grove was one that was foreign to the dark mare and the bear as they moved through it. They had only been there once or twice before and it had not been a time of romance or passion. It had marked the end of a failed relationship and was marred with bitterness that still left a bad taste in the Constrictor's mouth. She remembered well the mix of emotions she was feeling when she'd found Midas under one of the many willows. Anger, disgust, disappointment, and despair made one hell of a cocktail and she was unfortunate enough to be feeling the effects of the same mix now as she roamed far and wide looking for the dark maiden that had captured her heart so easily. "...'Akota!" The suddenness of Eytan's voice made Ktulu stop short, her head jerking upwards as she looked in the direction that the grizzly was. " 'Akota!" he insisted and as Ktulu stared into the thickening veil of misty fog she could see the dark outline of a body that was definitely feminine. She had little time to process what she was seeing before Eytan roared into the fog, alerting anyone close enough that there was a predator among them. Ktulu's ears lay back against her head and she glared down at the bear, but he ignored her and took off at a run toward the figure he had seen, still shouting 'Akota' as he ran. It took a very short amount of time for his figure to be concealed by the fog and Ktulu was left to wonder if it was really Lakota that he had seen or if her own desperation of finding her had finally made him lose his better judgement. If that were the case he could be in danger of some sort of retaliation. "Eytan!" The Constrictor suddenly yelled as she set off at a gallop after the bear. "Stop!" @[Lakota]  |
