Gazing affectionately at the cremello mare he would never cease to be amazed by her patience and her unrelenting confidence. She seemed to easily find light in the darkest of places portraying it out for everyone to see. Where in his own mind doubts lingered he found it much easier to put them to rest just listening to the soothing sound of her voice. His mother had been gifted with words as well and he had always admired others with similar abilities. There was no doubt that it was those like the two of them that could change the world should they feel the need. When they spoke others would listen as the wisdom was clear as day. He loved them both equally but in different ways as was expected. He knew that should they be graced with a child, Parelia would make an outstanding mother.

Careening down into the water he felt the same joyous thrill he had felt as a young colt playing around with friends. Back then he was as his mother described a little hellion at times always getting into mischief some way or another, if she could see him now she would likely just shake her head. That part of him had never disappeared but rather just been carefully tucked away, there was no changing that part of him. His own laughter filled the air combining with the joyous tones of his lover making him grin like a fiend who had just managed to cause some trouble. It was a part of him that not many had seen but such a joy when it was released from within, it was as if he was a young colt all over again.

Reaching out with his muzzle he attempted to pin Parelia to him affectionately in a form of surrender. As he did so his muzzle trailed along her barrel gently as his eyes followed. It was amazing to think that their child could be growing in there as they spoke, the feeling was simply outstanding. Pausing his movement he just let his soft muzzle rest there for a moment taking it all in. A content sigh left his throat as he came to realize he was the happiest he had been in a long time, and it was all thanks to the beautiful mare beside him.

Watching the pair frolic around from the safety of the shore the black and white tigress huffed in disbelief, if she hadn't of jumped when she had she would be in the midst of all of that wetness. She did like the water but on her own terms of course, otherwise it was just inconvenient. Feeling her highly sensitive whiskers tingle she looked over to see the female's bonded swooping down beside her. She was half tempted to pounce on him playfully but stopped herself thinking back to what her bonded had said. What was it again? Oh ya that she must play nicer with feathered things so not to hurt them. As if she would hurt them, she was careful. Regardless she leaned over swatting her paw gently to nudge the small bird playfully with a growl. With a flick of her tail she lept off the rock into the grass wanting to play as well.
