delsolea the static on your arm - it is the catalyst Luckily for Delsolea she was not flying when the sky decided to open up. As the rain slowly began before it descended in a curtain of water, Delsolea had been hiding under the very tree that the horned mare was coming towards. She had managed to beat the rain, which was nice – and for a moment in the silence and the solitude of the torrential downpour, relaxation spread across her body. Her senses dropped for a moment, opening wide to the scent of the petrichor. It was wonderful.
The sound of hooves and the arrival of the horned mare thought brought her back. Her body stiffened as she flinched away somewhat, trying to avoid droplets of water while also having her moment of serenity tarnished. The same alienating feeling came over her as she leaned away from her, her eyes narrowed slightly. Delsolea came around the verge of the tree slightly, her wings hanging a little as she looked at the strange mare, wondering who she was until she remembered that it was better for herself not to be curious, to be guarded and anti-social until she was comfortable. At least here, she was not looking for any sort of home. She was merely, enjoying her time. “Try not to send too much water this way, I only just managed to avoid it,” she said in a rather dry tone, though her moment of complete unfriendliness was gone. Instead, she was calmer, though not entirely relaxed. For now though, Delsolea watched her with a curious glint to her gaze, wondering who this stranger was. |
