Joy at the arrival of her king was planted plainly on the girl's face. The smile suited her well and the Edge seemed to hum along with her, wind blowing jovially through the trees and picking at her mane and tail. Kaj's arrival was fortuitous for another reason as well. Foals, in much the same way as love, implied chains, implied being tied down, implied being caged with wings clipped instead of free. Kahlua did not shudder to look upon the yearling or find her particularly distasteful. She was actual quite nice and the queen was pleased that she was back to become one of the Qian again. Still, Kaj was delightfully more welcoming than she was and started easy conversation while the queen had struggled along. Ah, the social butterfly stuck in a corner where she didn't know what to do. It was an interesting predicament. “I'm glad to hear it. Forgive our wall, the mess will be cleared soon enough.” Silly wall, marring the beauty of the regal forest. But Dragomir had plans for the fallen panes and Kahlua was eager to see it go. Soon, their borders would stand clearer. Still, she managed a laugh, a happy sound, blue eyes falling to Aaron. It was a shame she did not know this would be one of the last times she would see him here in the draconian wood. And indeed, they felt draconian against with Semira back. Giving them all a nod of appreciation that they had come to the borders to greet Dragomir and the girl, Kahlua turned her head as a new call rang out from somewhere farther down the glass wall. “Forgive me, my friends. Someone else has come to meet us.” Giving Kaj a look that meant she could handle this and that he should stay to greet his friend, the queen left the group to their merriment, happily humming as she left.
