So enveloped is she with her study of the wall, that she does not notice the way his gaze follows her. So distracted is she by the topic of that selfsame wall that she doesn't take note of the sudden awkward movement he makes in the wake of her brief and careless touch. Her thoughts are too deep and contemplative, wondering the meanings that could lay behind the state of the wall her mother had been so earnest for, the wall that she'd never given a second thought to because it had always been so easy to fly over or around it.

It is not until he gives an answer to her inquiry, dropping yet more names, that she rouses from her contemplations of the wall to contemplate horses. Resplendence... was one she was familiar with, though there were no strong reactions within her mind for the equine in question. Alysanne? Completely unknown, but obviously a healer. Absently the silver child pondered over the horses that had stepped into the Wild Rose's hoofprints, knowing at least one had been instructed by the grulla mare in question. As for a greenhouse? That too rang no bells within her consciousness, though she supposed that eventually she would stumble over the project in question.

And then?

She sang, and the Edge's denizens answered. Not with song, not with voice. But forward tipped ears were not so very long in catching the sound of approaching hoofsteps. Patient and curious, she waited amidst the dark mists and tree-cast shadows, silver scales softly glinting with faint glimmering reflections of distant stars.

The first to arrive was a mare, draped in black and white, whose form dimly matched a child's recollections of a horse infrequently seen. This must be Kahlua, whom Dragomir had spoken so fondly of. A quick glance over her shoulder, inadvertantly timed to glimpse the moonstruck expression on her friend's face that was directed toward the painted lady, confirmed that fact even as the new queen of the Edge praised Dragomir for bringing Semira home again. A tinge of jealousy tugged at her thoughts as the silver child looked back toward Kahlua as the mare introduced herself, the emotion ignored in favor of politeness.

"Evening, Miss Kahlua. I am..." Interrupted, and by the appearance of a familiar bonded pair. A bright smile graced her features as she bent her head low in greeting to the grown hellhound that had bounded out into the open to greet her, a low thrumming sound escaping her breast at the similarities to her meetings with two entirely different hellhounds striking a humorous chord within her. Then she was lifting her head with renewed happiness in her gaze as the painted stallion, brother to her 'cousins', welcomed her home. "Thank you Aaron, it is good to be home again."

Recalling that her polite greeting to the new queen had been incomplete, she looked back at Kahlua, a wry smile tugging at her lips. There was a definite theme going on today. "I am as Aaron called me, Semira. Younger twin to Amaris, daughter of Mirage and Vikram. Though you probably know that, since you were here before..." Tactfully she decided to not say more, remembering how discussing that subject had previously dampened Dragomir's mood. Instead she cast her gaze around the group. An ear twitched in sudden humor. If she didn't know better, she'd say that the Edge was becoming populated with only painted equines!
