Aaron Weeks had passed since they had returned to the Edge. Day into night and back again. Somehow, the painted knight who held the title of Glazier had not begun his work. He knew that there was work to be done. He remembered, although from who he did not remember, talk of a greenhouse being built to cover and protect the herb garden Res was working so hard on. It was then the knight decided to get to work. Together, as the sun began to descend behind the horizon they moved as one, hellhound and equine, paws and hooves. They headed for the place he had heard the healers working days before on clearing the garden. The young paint had no clue where to begin, other than to create panels of glass. He would start with two, as he feared the extent of the magic would be almost used up. He had no clue what Dragomir might of been working on, if it was for the herd or not. His eyes closed as he called for the magic within him to stir. It started in a swirl of darkness, the rush of wind surrounding the place he imagined the glass panel. It was about two feet wide and two feet long. However he pictured it four inches thick. He wanted the glass to be strong, even if it had been proven that depending on the situation it would not hold up. Look Said a soft bell like voice in his mind. Alanna's voice was growing softer and sweeter as time went on. So he did. There before him in the place he had imagined it, was the first panel. He had done it! Now he would rest for a bit, as the focusing and use of the magic had made the stud tired. Slowly he lowered himself to the ground, Alanna moving in close. He would nap, while she stood guard. If anything or anyone got close, she would wake him before it was to late. "Talking" [Open to anyone] GlazieR world's edge |
