Feeling the softness of the sand beneath her feet brought back some of her favourite memories of the past couple months. The ocean is what brought her peace after all these years, it allowed her soul to soar to new heights. Maybe it was the reason for her choosing to call the Edge her home when she had many other options, well at the time it was because it was the first place she had been offered but now she knew it was the correct choice for her.

Normally when she was this close to the ocean she loved to explore everything that there was to find, but not this time. The driftwood was her intended target, upon it the beautiful teal coloured egg beckoning to her, needing her. Please let this be mine, she thought silently praying to the gods above. If they could hear her wish wherever they were out there, let her be the one to raise the creature within the egg, she was capable, more than capable.

Urging her muscles to stretch just a little bit further, move a little bit faster, maybe she could be the first one to reach the target. Refusing to give up she pushed herself forward gaining speed with each stride, well at least in her mind she was not so sure about if it was actually happening or not. The wind blew from behind hopefully helping her gain that little extra speed to put her in the lead, now it was up to her to give it everything, show them that she had what it took. Stretching her head forward with each forward stride she threw her entire body into the motion, it was only her and the ocean's egg before her nothing else existed, nothing else mattered. Nothing was going to stand in her way, she needed this, she needed to know that there was more to life than just what she currently had discovered. She was unstoppable, no one could stop her from dreaming...ever.
