Days had begun to drag on monotonously, she hadn't seen Cashmere in a while, and, all in all, everything was just suspended. There had been whisperings of another arriving, but that was all it was. That little, new, lingering scent was the only mystery of her life. A light rain drizzled in the morning, hissing against the dry spring ground. Elsa looked into the sky, the droplets landing with a rough splash on her muzzle. Her nose crinkled, the droplets then beginning to run down the length of her face, before finally, with a precarious teeter, falling down the length of her cheek. As it finally fell to the ground, a damp line of darkened fur stood in its wake. Elsa lowered her head again and sought shelter beneath a large pine. The wind twisted through the branches, creating haunting melodies. Elsa was again entranced by the music, and the way the storm swayed. It brought her attention back to its center, and really made her think. Sometimes the thinking was good, other times it was bad. It all just depended on the day. This time... the thinking just existed. Her thoughts about life had drifted away with the wind, and in its whispers were just thoughts. Thoughts about Helovia, and what was really going on within its depths. She pressed her body against the tree, as the rain picked up a little. The droplets becoming more pregnant with more of the precious water. It was funny how in summer this overabundance of water seemed to just disappear overnight. She snorted, confused by her own, pointless thoughts. Maybe someone will wander along. She thought, actually hoping for company to find their way to her. "Talking" @[Aurelia] Elsa |
