What dove the dark brute on she would not understand, and she would not try to comprehend. In fact she would almost believe he was something besides a unicorn. Something in unicorn's clothing. Suspicions were not anything weighty, just thoughts she had. All while she tried to pursue the four legged beast that smashed it's way though anything and everything like it wasn't there. Unlike him, she felt the trees scraping at her knees, wild branches digging against her hocks, and caught a sticky spider web to her fuzzy nose. A snort, she half rubbed it while trying to continue her chase. Soon she was bobbing through creeks knowing she would be more brown then black. Getting dirty did not bother her, it actually felt good, water dripping against her limbs, and barrel. She urged her limbs faster, climbing up the the miniature bank.

It did not take too long to regain ground upon the living shadow. Once she caught up, he soon came to a halt. She quickly slid to a stop of her own, just in time to see the bunny flee out of the corner of her eye. He was so close to spotting the floppy eared thing, when suddenly he was looking at her. She was caught by two bright colored eyes of molten lava. They may be staying at her, but they almost seemed to be looking through her.

Muscles coiled beneath he charcoal pelt as he came close. He merely took in her scent, before shooting off for hell knows what. She was tempted to let the chase end there. What else did she have to do? She was not naive to believe he was harmless, but she was curious, bored, and possibly lonely. Without more thought or question as to what was too happen she followed his trail once again. This time she had a faint clue where she was headed; place Mauja had called them.

She weaved her way through the trees, the sky breaking blue with the rising sun even higher. She saw the black stallion, head in the clouds, long coil whipping around his front pillars. She could see it wasn't going to end well. She hurriedly rushed forward. "Stop!" She cried, but it was too late. He flew into the open field, and it was not too long she heard the thud of flesh meeting hard earth. A wince, she trotted out into the grassy plain to see the giant dog. Skin was torn where his collar had been, she could see that from a distance. She eased herself into a walk, cautiously approaching. Silver irises wanted to take a closer look at his wounds, she wasn't quite ready to break the space."Ouch," she offered in a soft tone, as if she were speaking to a wounded critter she was trying to coax.
