Kahlua

Stress. The queen was quite done with it all. The herd, the chaos, the bringing back Seers that had attacked other herds, the seizing mare... The queen had done her part, had stayed in the Edge as long as she possibly could, did her duties quietly and patiently and was patient with her flock... but every woman had a breaking point and Kahlua had finally found hers. In the dead of night, when she hoped that her herd was mostly asleep, the queen sneaked across the shattered glass wall and broke into a gallop. She was, if only for a short time, escaping responsibility and running wild and free. She did not consider where she was running, did not think if she should dodge that tree to the left or the right, she only ran, chest heaving, body sweating, nostrils flaring, mane and tail flailing wildly in the wind. And with every stride away from her herd, the queen felt a weight lift off her shoulders. She was free again, able to explore the wilds with all the carelessness that she wished. At least for a day or two, until she had to return to her harem. Kaj would understand. She had a need to be free and with the wall still there... the Edge still felt like a prison.

When the queen had had enough running she slowed to a stop and for the first time in a very long time she was able to sleep without nightmares plaguing her. And when the sun awoke her in the morning, the queen felt refreshed... and chilled. Looking around, the queen took in the snowy landscape, the frozen ground, the desolate wasteland. She remembered this place... It was where she had met Lena. What was she going to do here in the snow? But suddenly... suddenly, it came to her. After all, she had more quests to complete for the Sun God, did she not?

Taking a deep breath, the queen set off towards the Basin, barely remembering the path from the only time she had been there before. Her muscles felt tight from all the running she had done last night. She hoped this was not the stupidest idea she had ever had... Actually, it might be. She frowned. But she was a little too late to turn back now. By the time she had realized she was an idiot, she could see the towering form of a unicorn statue right near the area where she had delivered a gift to the golden bitch, the menacing shadow stallion and the nicer one who had given her the little scorpion. It was lucky she didn't go very many places without it. It sat upon her head, clicking and whirring between her ears. Of course, she was also wearing the harness that Dragomir had given her... maybe she was a little bit of an object hoarder. Whatever. Stopping a wary distance from the unicorn machine, Kahlua took a deep breath and called out nervously. “Ill- Illynx?” Surely she was inviting trouble upon herself... She hoped not too much.

@[Illynx]- This is for a quest so maybe just Illy? If somebody else wants to come, maybe just the racist ones? It would help ;)
