The what next that had been inquired by both of the women was quickly answered by the dutiful Dragomir, who had clearly become a master of this process. Kahlua was no master, it was clear- her vines were not separated so cleanly as Dragomir's, but they were clean enough for learning purposes. So as he demonstrated pulling the vine from the group, she was certain that she would have no problem getting them apart. But while crushing the vine apart had come easily enough to her, pulling it apart proved a challenge all of it's own. She pulled, but she had forgotten to notice the way Dragomir placed his hoof along the other end of the vine and her own quickly became a twisted mess. She frowned, dropping the vine to watch Dragomir again. It was then that she noticed how he stopped it from coiling the way hers had. So she tried to flatten her vine out to try again, but that just ended up making it all lumpy, and well... It was kind of a mess, so she did what Nasreen had done and she tried the other vine she had separated. “So there were separate horses that made other objects?” she inquired. She was quickly awed by what she suddenly assumed must have been a massive colony. If Dragomir's only job was to make rope... well, by the gods they would never have enough horses in this herd to make everything they needed. But then... perhaps all of Th'orqui was a united herd, rather different from their own. She inquired about it, also through gritted teeth that were focusing on separating strands. “Did you have separate herds, the way we do?” And just about the time she had finished her question, her first strand freed itself from its vine overlord. My goodness, this was quite a task, wasn't it. @[Dragomir] @[Nasreen] |
