She could tell, with a great deal of certainty, when she had done exceptionally well or exceptionally poorly at any given task. In this case, she is fairly sure that she has pleased her Master with her ability to grow herbs. Although the ethics of growing an addictive substance are questionable, she is not of a class to consider such things. If her Master wills it, then it will be so. Besides, she reasons, he needs it, doesn't he? Does it not help him to get through the day? And should she not assist him in whatever way he needs? It is very important for her to provide him with everything he needs, for without him, who would she be?
