Resplendence smiled as her young dragon circled around in the sky above - occasionally allowing a puff of smoke with a spark or two to emerge from his mouth as he got used to the feeling of warmth protruding from his mouth. It was hot, full of energy, and something that he wasn't the best at controlling. Alas, he was trying to figure it out - and he still hadn't really learned that such sparks could hurt someone else. So, on occasion, he would move up near Res and let out a puff of smoke which would trail near her face but not yet singe her hairs. A scolding look would plaster itself upon her face as he did so, and then he would move off to try it again in the air.

Alas, as her name fell forth from Kahlua's lips, she drug her frame up from her comfortable bed of cherry blossoms in order to come and heed her sisters call, Valiance having already sparked just enough of a fire to allow the kindling to burn and the bonfire to slowly erupt before them. And, with the order to do so, she allows her orbs to trail up towards the sky and watch as the Moon Goddess creates an elegant display in the night sky. She declares that they should have a party and Res can only shake her head in mild amusement. Trust Kahlua to decide we need to celebrate, she thinks to herself before stepping aside as the painted mare begins to sing. She was not one for attention, after all, and standing next to the star of the night meant nothing but that. However, before she disappears off to the side she allows a gentle bump of support against her sister's shoulder.

But, when she thinks all will be peaceful she clearly sees otherwise. She was a sweet mare, usually, but the sight of the golden glazed pegasus resulted in anger like the flickering flames of the bonfire to erupt inside of her. She hurt our family. She attacked my sister and made her CRY! Instantly, she starts forward, limbs stretching out and her body tracking up in an elegant motion. Her ear is pinned back ever so slightly and Valiance has puffed up upon one of the cherry tree branches above where Aurelia was - giving out a warning hiss. The wind within three feet of Res started to pick up - none of it daring to blow around the fire, but simply causing a whirlwind near her. It clung to her locks, twisted them around and pulled them up and off the ground - out of her way with each step. And, while she was horribly confused about how the wind was mimicking her emotions she had nothing against its sudden appearance. Perhaps the Moon Goddess was on her side for the moment. "You," she hisses - not even willing to allow her name to fall from her lips, as if such a thought would burn her tongue out. "How could you hurt your own family? You are weak! Thoughtless actions deserve consequences. I do not care if you do not think us blood - when you lived under our roof, you were considered family - and then you dared to burn another herd, almost send us to war, the one thing we seek to avoid, and then attack our leader - your sister." It sickens her, to see this mare so close to her sister, to the family she holds dear. And, with that sickening feeling of hurt and the fire burning in her soul Valiance lets out a puff of smoke, a spark of a flame lighting the air above the mare as she wishes to force the wind to make the mare tumble over. And, with that thought the wind continues to strengthen, going forward (unable to move the weight of a horse) and starting to bend over the sapling trees, the grass laying flat on the ground around her, and the feeling of her locks whipping against her skin. "You've caused nothing but pain. It is best that you leave," she hisses as Valiance glides through the sky until he was out of the tunnel of wind and lands upon her back. The hurt is shining in Res' eyes, clear for anyone to see. How could she dare to hurt her own family? Then, a quieter voice - one meeker, showing the hurt that this golden glazed mare had truly caused - emerged, "Please… just leave her and the Edge alone," she almost pleads - the wind dying down for a few moments to allow her quiet voice to be heard.

And, with that, Res turns on her haunches, strong winds swirling around her frame once more as she begins to trot off to the side - away from the fire to work through the pile of emotions which curdled her veins and brought tears to her eyes. Please let her leave… please don't let her hurt us again… So, Valiance slides down and wraps his feathery arms around the bridge of her nose, clinging to her in an attempt to comfort the mare who could wish pain on no one but not allow the sources of that pain to weasel their way into her family's life. But, with all of this emotional turmoil she doesn't notice that there may be others watching - that others may think her to be insane. But she doesn't know if she cares anymore - it all just hurts so much and she wants it to stop…

So Res won't actually hurt anyone. The wind magic is their Herd Champs magic, and she can't actually control it, nor does she understand why it's suddenly their. It's too weak to move a horse, only light objects, and Res simply wants Aurelia to leave the Edge alone - the 'scolding' is basically her explanation as to why she thinks it is best that Aurelia stays away from them because she doesn't want there to be another chance that Aurelia hurts her family again.
