Amused with himself for having created such a scene, the turtle laughs while all of the equines race onward. Still, he is not pleased that two mares seem to be so far ahead of the rest. He conjures a silly trick that he hopes will slow them down, allowing the rest to catch up so that the race might finish more fairly. While they bounce so daintily across the clouds, the final ring looming ahead, a headwind starts to blow. But more than just air blows. The wind brings cherry blossoms, mountains of cherry blossoms, which fill the air with their pink hue and make visibility very low, especially for the two out front. Those behind may have a slightly better time seeing, as Kahlua and Leeka's body's break up the wall of flower petals. "Hurry on!" he cries out, urging them all forward.
