A cold gust of wind, blowing in from the north.
His mane pushed back away from his face. The Beast was heading home.
With the hint of frost upon the horizon, naturally the mammoth of an equine was lured that way. The summer had been too long and warm for him, now it was time to go home.

He remembered this way like he had traveled it many times, though in truth, he'd only been through once or twice. The first time was upon joining these lands. Even if the area was not fully encumbered with snow, he'd grown quite attached to those he'd met. One could forgive the lack of ice and snow for the ... friends, he had made; The beast stumbled mentally over that word, not used to such foreign tongue.

A thunderous sound ricochet off the surrounding foliage. Soft, fur coated ears pricked forwards with curiosity. The Beast froze in slight fear. A thunderstorm or an avalanche? The latter would not be a good omen. Mykah had taken to hiding between his legs, cowering like the no good lynx she was. He had not seen a single ferocious bone on her yet; Unless he woke her up, then he sure did get a good face lashing. "You're such a baby!" He chuckled halfheartedly. Watching as she sulked upon his words, chewing upon the feathers of his legs, in terms of getting him back.
Having been her companion; and vice versa, now he had become less shy around her. Even pushing her around some, just because he could.

Distant voices lingered upon the wind, easily carried forwards. At first he couldn't quite decipher whom it was, but when their scents filled his nostrils he could tell almost instantly that it was the Alpha female and a young foal that shared a similar scent, But one he had not come across yet.

Mykah, as per usual had found something a lot more interesting than him; having ventured forth from her hiding place. Once again she was doing that strange wiggle low on the ground, then pouncing forth upon some kind of bug most likely. A deep chuckle escaped the behemoths lips, being cut short by a slight gasp as the ground seemed to shake. And the; almost, same sound came, like before, though this time not as echoed but more dulled, as if something large; extremely large, had hit the ground. Now he worried.

All but forgetting about Mykah he swiftly moved forwards, almost picking up a trot. Audits flicked in almost every direction as he moved like a night crawler, through the forest, his large barrel twisting as he made turns as sharp as his grand torso would allow. Agility was not one of his stronger points.

He could make out the fuzzy shapes of two up ahead. They were moving about, thank god for that; he sighed in relief. Though to be fully settled upon the matter he had to check things out. Make sure they were un-harmed.

It may have taken him slightly longer than others, but he got there in the end, even if it was at a faster pace for him.

Upon arriving he took in his surroundings. A trunk stuck violently out the ground, where a tall tree once stood, now half charred and burnt it had fallen to the ground. Luckily not upon anyone. He bowed gracefully in front of Gildedblade. "Mi Lady" He spoke softly, acknowledging her presence. Being the chivalrous gentleman he was. "May I ask what it is you are doing here? And are you hurt?" His deep voice echoed throughout the tree's bouncing back and forth. His eye's glance down to the small child. The one he guessed he'd picked up on. Indeed they had not met yet. " And whom might this be?" He offered with a slight cheer to the tone, rather than that of a well spoken being.

blah blah blahblah blah blah blahblah
