Flints drug her corpse downwards as she made her way through the treacherous slope. She seen this hole from a ways off, and wanted to investigate it more. Sliding down the rocks, she seen the opening to the cavern and after much sliding and careful picking, she finally made her way in. Has her ooids adjusted to the dim lit cavern, she was amazed at what she saw. It was much more than a hole opening up in the earth, it was vast and complex. Molten, fiery earth flowed and ebbed on the other side of a transparent crystal wall. Standing before the barrier, she watched protected from the heat and spitting fire as the earth’s veins pumped its thick molten blood about the heart. She stood in awe as her liquid blue optics soaked in the rare and unusual site. The place held so much mystery and magic; from its odd equine looking creatures to its hidden caverns like this.


To say that she regretted finding and being a part of Helovia now, was far from her mind. She was enthralled and somewhat excited to be a part of this magic place. In this one great room she stood, there were paths to many other places. She dare not move from here. There was time to explore later but currently she was more than happy to watch the lava flow and be enchanted by the way it moved.


Her mind wondered back to how she came to be here, and how Rosti had taken her to the falls. She wasn’t sure exactly what her position entailed, but that was neither here nor there in her mind. The falls was just a place to be, that seemed safe. Miadas seemed nice and caring enough, although maybe not so excited about her gender. There seemed to be quite a few mares in the herd and not many stallions. That was all well and good if you needed to breed and army, but if someone was to attack without warning, it might not be the best of scenarios. Although, the females could be trained to be great warriors and fight – it was general knowledge that the male species was generally more apt to fight and what have you, at least… that was how she was raised to believe. Here in these lands, it wouldn’t be such a surprise to her however if some female species seemed to outrank the males or be in close comparison because of magic, horns, wings and many other contributions that these equines seemed to hold.


Standing in the dim lit cavernous room, her mind switched from through to thought but one thing here didn’t seem to afflict her anymore… the voices of her dead children weren’t there in her mind. She blinked and searched and listened, straining her nape as if she were concentrating on a sound closer to the rock floor. Nothing. They weren’t here… she stood there and thought to herself… how odd. Perhaps the ebbing lava had such a calming effect on her mind that she was able to forget they even exited and plagued her. No whispers, no tormenting little nagging voices – nothing! She laughed an odd, ringing laughter as she stood there and watched through the crystal wall. She needed to come here more often then, maybe even make this her new ‘home’, if that was even plausible to do. Probably not, since she was a member of herd, Rosti may be sent out to find her.


Her alabaster hued flints splayed out before her as she dipped her front half down and stretched a lazy and long stretch. Maw parted as she yawned and let lose a groan into the dark. She liked it here, but it was a tad lonely without the little shits keeping her mind busy. She wondered if other equine often visited here or if they seemed to be preoccupied with all the other odd and interesting places that were sure to be around here. Folding up her flints she let her body flop to the ground in front of the crystal wall as she hypnotically continued to watch the lava flow, her mind and body relaxing. She could easily take a nap right about now….
