The smooth white egg wasn’t very large, but it wasn’t small either. It was kind of like a large bird egg, really. As she flew, the mystery only increased. What would fall out of this creamy white shell? Was it a wispy thing? Was it a bird? Was it a hag creature like the one who had gifted it to her? The hag did call it her child…

The mystery wouldn’t be revealed, until it decided to hatch, whenever that was. As her feet alighted the ground she tucked her head in a little more to keep it from falling loose. Once safely on the island, she slowly lowered the egg onto a small, bare patch of grass. The last remaining grasses cradled it gently, keeping the smooth shell from cracking.

She crinkled her nose, confused at what to do next. Was she supposed to be warming this or something; because that would be a problem. She was technically like a bird creature but there was no way in the world she could “sit” on this egg. Well, this was quite the predicament. Elsa took a few steps around it, before she noticed movement coming from within the egg.

Her eyes widened, and Elsa lowered her nose to watch as a beak suddenly peeked out from the egg. It was white, and almost blended with the smooth shell of the egg. A few moments later, a small, sickeningly goop-covered head popped out. It peeped, seeming to scream at Elsa to help it. Elsa nose away the shards of the eggs until all that was out was a goopy baby bird. It hopped over, and peeped at her. When she didn’t respond, they continued to get louder, and harsher, until Elsa finally began to lick away the goop. It was disgusting, and cold. Speaking of the cold, for how cold it was outside, the companion did not seem bothered, odd.

However, a few more moments passed and the bird was small, oddly all white, fluffy, and had the most shockingly blue eyes. It was literally Elsa in bird form, minus the blue markings. It peeped again, beckoning Elsa to lower her head. As soon as that happened, the bird’s sharp claws grabbed onto her nose and hopped up her face. Elsa squealed, attempting to keep the bird from doing any damage to her face; but it didn’t care. It settled, sitting between her ears, and suddenly Elsa felt their minds connect. It was odd, and suddenly, she didn’t hate the fluff ball as much as she had previously. Though, it seemed unsatisfied with the events. It pecked at her forehead, adamant that is give it an endearing name. "Alfie?" She asked, and smack! her head was hit with full on beak. Elsa yelped and grunted, fine, she will pick another! "Winnie?" It pecked even harder, signaling that it was not a female! Elsa shook her mane, attempting to get the bird off but it stayed. "God dang! Then your name will be Edgar!" She about half screamed at the bird, who now sat quiet and smug atop her head. Funny, now that she had a companion he was the one taking over.
