Since it is your duty as her protector to follow Snowflake as often as you can, you follow after her as she gallops across the land. Admittedly, you’re not that great at running for long distances, but you’ve got to make sure she’s not getting into trouble or talking to somebody she shouldn’t be talking to. Well, that, and you need a distraction from the constant reminder that you’re out of your vines. See, the sweat on your body isn’t just from all the effort you’re exerting trying to keep pace with Snowflake. It’s your body, fighting off the tremors that threaten to pull you over every chance they get, fighting off the memories that knock at your mind and try to pull you into depression with the images they bring.
So you run, because running is better than standing. Except you run into the forest and even though Snowflake is practically white, you somehow lose her in the inky blackness that surrounds you. And then you stumble upon some stupid paper that’s covered with blood. With writing on it? Yeah… that’s not suspicious at all. Before you, the path splits into left and right, but you don’t give a flying fuck about any paths or papers. You need Snowflake. You were following her, and now she’s gone, and you kind of need her to serve as a distraction because otherwise you might just go crazy, and she should know that. So instead of working on the paper, you just get irrationally angry that you don’t know where Snowflake went and stomp off down the right path, whinnying out loudly as you go. Where the fuck is she?
