Shrugging away what seemed to be yet another loss on her part, the damsel escaped the silent confines of the magically altered area, intending to return home to her daughter. Only...the presence was growing stronger. Frowning heavily to herself, Hotaru turned in a wide circle and slowly surveyed her surroundings. Finding nothing, the thief hissed between her blunted teeth in annoyance before striking forth through the loose powder to find the source of her discomfort.

It's not entirely difficult, there is a hoard of milling civilians already gathering and their noise is annoyingly prevalent in the silence of the snowy forest. A beacon, really, that draws her rather reluctantly. Hotaru isn't exactly a friendly mare, nor is she an experienced nor willing conversationalist. The only thing that catches her eye is the familiar form of the stallion that kept wandering around, ending up near her almost every time. Oxy, she recalled, though she would always fondly call him Druggie or Handsome.

Hooves trailing in the snow she trots towards him with a loose curl of her lips sent his way. "Why is it we always end up in the same area, handsome?" she chuckled, only to turn and find her Goddess standing in all her stoic glory before her. Stepping away from Oxy she maneuvered to better stand before her, a willing disciple. A mere pawn. Oh, Hotaru knew exactly what kind of game the Goddess liked to play, and she knew how little she must care for such brief spurts of life such as she. But that's exactly why Hotaru liked her.

"My Queen," she exhaled, a reverent title meant only for the immortal's ears as she recalled the last time the two had met.
