Feet paced over the mossy terrain of the glowing room hidden underground; scaly, rough, taloned feet. Brown feathers jostled against one another, unkempt and wild. A red sheet of skin, like blood, wobbled to and fro with the movement upon a rounded head. Black, beady eyes which seemed to contain no soul darted from one end of the glow-lit room to the other, frenzily searching for what was not there. A low growl rumbled from within, furious and dangerous in its tone.
All of it belonged to no beast however, not in any traditional sense of the word. An otherwise well mannered being, she cannot contain herself at the dinner table. Actually, she thought with an irritated squawk passing through her beak - she was particularly monstrous at the moment due to a lack of suitable food.
Angrily she scratched at a tuft of moss. Its fragments went sailing behind her, falling imp against their brethren. It did nothing to satiate the turkey, which angered her all the more. Few things could, especially given her large girth and bottomless appetite. She stood nearly as tall as a horse.
"IS THERE NO DECENT FOOD AROUND HERE!?" She huffed, feathers which had fluffed at her sides gradually slicking back down. Since coming to Helovia she hadn't managed to rustle up any decent grub, figuratively and literally. Her call, a plea disguised with frustration, echoed through the various caverns of the cave and beyond, calling to anyone who might be able to help her. Unfortunately the turkey was no chef herself, but she knew a good meal when she tasted it, so she could certainly judge dishes.
She did have one thing left. An egg, carefully guarded by her, until now. Hungrily she waddled over to it, taking it in her foot and contemplating the best way to eat it. She knew it wasn't ideal, but desperate times called for desperate measures.
This is going to be a cook off! You may bring in SEVEN ingredients, which you should list on the bottom of your post, but choose wisely, these ingredients must be used to make all the dishes required in each round. You'll want some of the basics, but also some which are unique to make your dishes stand out.
*You can say you brought the ingredients in with you, or go and find them once the meal to be made is announced, I just need the OOC confirmation of them in your first reply.
