I am proud to be my Father's son. He is so strong and mighty in a way that I am not yet, but hope to be. He has won countless battles and has defended our herd against so many atrocities that I wonder where we would be without him. I look at the coloured markings on his body - on his eye, shoulders, and rump, and wonder if I'll do anything in my lifetime to deserve such things. I feel like I pale in comparison with him - where he has wings that are on fire, mine merely pulse with the dying light of embers, my coat is gray fading to white, whereas his is the colour of dried blood fading to black. He is a warrior, while I am still a child. Maybe one day all of that will change, but for now I realize that I am nothing compared to him. I am proud to be his son, but one day I hope he will be proud to have me as well.
As Spice said that she wanted to say, I felt another smile light up my face. I can't remember the last time I smiled this much, but hearing her say that she wanted to stay in our lands made me feel like my whole body suddenly became lighter. I can't wait to show her all of the things here - the Oasis, the fire of the Sun God, the sea. Perhaps we can play some more, our waters are warmer than those of the Heart after all, so maybe we won't be so cold. Then again ... we did find a way to warm ourselves up last time, and that wasn't so bad.
"Good!" I exclaim, and then nod. "It is nice. Everyone here is nice, and the Sun God is the best. He visits us here sometimes ... I can show you where his fire burns."
Maybe we could even try flying to it?
