Was the herd sick of his calls yet? Possibly they were. Maybe they should have asked for a mental message board rather than a magical bridge, the dun thought with a smirk. Still, this was important. Given the meeting between Buce and Hotaru apparently the herd needed to be apprised of her real identity, and Buce's new rank. Perhaps it was fitting that he had found the two together - it certainly brought to light two issues that needed to be dealt with.

Rising onto his hind legs, Gaucho poured fire into the sky, the flames bleeding outwards from those that already lingered on his black feathers, followed by his usually grouping of fire-eagles. Surely they recognized this call by now? Certainly he had used it often enough to bring his family to him.

"Rhojosor!" He called loudly, using the word that came most naturally to him to describe his relationship with them. They were his family, whether they thought of him the same or not. Families often were like that, after all. "Throat now have prisoner. Pink Spy from Basin. She the one who try to take Tandavi. She the one who follow Phaedra. She the one Meg see eating bodies." Technically that wasn't true. Meg had only seen her touch one body. But I mean, if you're going to desecrate one body, is it really such a stretch to think you would do it to multiples? In the back of his mind the Wildfire wondered if Hotaru was the murderer they all sought. She didn't match the clues they had found so far - black hairs and feathers - but she might have had sand if she came into the Throat looking for Tandavi. Perhaps the black was merely a red herring? They would see soon enough.

"More things." He continued. "Buce now Chancellor. Throat not have this position since Kri ... but we have it again now. Chancellor acts as lead, handles day to day concerns. This position appointed only by Gaucho and Sohalia, and only be removed by them." The position in effect was untouchable, though could be usurped if the current holder displeased the leads. Besides, with Sohalia's busy schedule Gaucho couldn't be expected to be everywhere at once, and Buce had demonstrated his ability seemingly to do just that. The herd seemed to like him well enough and if they didn't ... well, Gaucho would be more than happy to hear applications for his position. A little competition within the herd was never a bad thing. Continuing, "Ampere now gladiator." He affirmed simply, doubting there would be any questioning of these decisions.

"Last thing. Gaucho go begin quest for Sun God. While doing it, Gaucho will be ... impaired. Gaucho not going to be able to see or hear until quest is done. Gaucho will be fast, and will still protect you. You have Sohalia and Buce. You have each other. Have rhojosor."

Just a few announcements! This is public information for the Throat. Timeline wise this occurs after the meeting with Sunny and after Hotaru has been captured.

tldr; Hotaru is now a prisoner of the Throat. Why? She tried to steal Tandavi and Phaedra (True), she desecrated multiple murder victims (technically true, but Gaucho is only assuming this. IC all he actually knows is what Meg told him, that is, that Hotaru was found stealing things from one body). He also thinks she is the murderer because of the body-stealing stuff.
