That creature lingered his gaze on the golden’s horns, and for all his skill even he couldn’t help that grin twisting for a second into a smirk. Though of course he quickly smoothed out the wrinkles and pretended not to notice. It was strange though that being a unicorn himself he did stare so long. But, there were some strange characters who walked through this wood. This youth would learn soon enough the strange creatures that haunted this land. For surely there were several.

With warm earth colored eyes the gold nodded at the new male’s introduction. “A pleasure. Thranduil, at your service.” The usual greeting rolled out. Really it was quiet odd to take it on, especially as no one here gave or knew the customary response. Still, old habits die hard. A questions seemed pursed on this new ones lips though, and the gold waited for him to gather himself, trying to be as dignified, but polite as possible. Especially considering he hadn’t intended for this meeting to happen he wasn’t his usual charming self. The irritation of that new fawn was blocking his usual charm. Still he wasn’t bad company. So the gold nodded and kept a happier conversation going. His voice, smooth and welcoming. “Indeed. There are unicorns here, in Helovia,” remembering his stare at his horns, “many with all sorts of different horns and antlers.” And of course those without, but the creature did not ask, so the gold does not tell.

Keeping the virtual tour guide going. “Most of us reside in the Aurora Basin. I am a member there.” Thief, though he certainly was proud of his title, seemed to over the top for this. Seeming to break his train of thought the gold lowered his head slightly, with a more personal air about him. “Would you be interested in staying with us Siska? I could tell you more if you would like, you do look rather weary.” The gold was doing his best to try and remember what this new creatures wanted to know and what worked and didn’t work. Still, the Basin didn’t need much advertising. Soon all knew its reputation and came into its fold. The gold was less patriotic, but he was always eager to show some pride in something he believed he possessed.
