Alysanne “We have, thank you!” It was true enough, the pair had been fairing rather well since the last time they spoke. This didn’t feel like the time to bring up or explain the darker of moments that had occurred, but rather to focus on the sunshine. Too much darkness in this world lately, Alysanne did not wish for it to sully the reunion with such talk. Not when there were just so many other things to talk about – that she would greatly prefer to talk about as well! “And I trust the same for you two? I imagine the Basin would be quite beautiful in the spring.” Although she had been there before, the other herd lands remained a tantalizing mystery to Alysanne. What was it like in the northern regions during the spring? Or the winter! Surely inhabitable, but this last winter had been harsh even here in the Edge. Alysanne’s comment about how there were a couple familiar plants in the collection that were indeed familiar hardly made it past a nod before they were joined by another friend of hers. How perfect that Resplendence should show up! Perhaps her ear was burning or perhaps it was simply good timing. Either way, these were two mares that the pegasus was sure would get along splendidly once they discovered their common interests. In greeting she whickered softly, accompanied as always by Hemlock’s cheerful hoot toward the mare (though for his part he landed near Imogen so as to stay away from Valiance). An easy and warm smile took over her features as she relaxed, letting Resplendence take the lead in the conversation about the garden. It was hers, after all! Whether she thought it was useless or not, Lena seemed quite taken with the idea and that seemed like a very good sign indeed. everybody heals with love |
