e wandered often, finding it difficult to stay in one place when his love had been so blatantly rejected. He could hardly look at her without feeling like his heart was going to shatter all over again and he had only just picked up all the pieces (or most of them, at least). So he keeps moving, keeps avoiding. Life is simpler and gentler when you don't stick around for the pain. Unfortunately, though, the pain catches up eventually and when it does, it hurts that much more. Today, he knew, would be no different than any other day. Miykael awoke next to Aly, as he always did. The two slept near each other every night - perhaps it was for the general comfort or perhaps it was because of her nightmares; either way, the two were joined at the hip as soon as the moon rises. Looking upon the green eyed pegasus made his heart pound, stutter, and ache. It wasn't fair. It never would be fair but he cannot demolish the love he holds in his heart.

Eliana stirs on his shoulders, cooing softly to her companion before shifting to preening his thick and tangled mane. After a few tender moments, she pauses. When Miykael turns his head to look at her, her silver eyes lock onto his. 'Go out?' her voice soft, sweet, and smooth sounds in his mind. Though the sound of it startles him, it is exactly the voice he imagined her to have - gentle and feminine with a capacity for firmness should the need arise (and with Miykael as her bonded, the need would surely arise!) The dunskin pegasus merely watches her in silence for a moment, admiring the growing zephyr. Eliana tilts her head, prompting a response from her bonded. Chuckling softly at her, he nods. They would go out today and Ellie could choose the destination.

Chirping her excitement, Ellie leaps into the still dark sky and circles Miykael once before taking off towards a clearing and heading north. The stallion charges after the silver speckled bird and once in the clearing, he flaps his wings and ascends into the sky. The two fly north again. They seem to have a penchant for going north lately. Perhaps Ellie is hoping they'll stumble across that mare again - the one Mikey almost got frisky with or perhaps she simply adores the northern lights. This early in the morning, though, the bird was bound to be disappointed. That thought didn't seem to be enough to stop her and just as the sun begins to rise and chase away the night, the two glide down, landing smoothly on the barren lands of the Frostbreath Steppe.

No.. ah-lone.' Ellie's voice whispers in his mind. 'There.' she adds, gesturing towards the horse alone in the distance. Curiosity gets the best of him, as it usually does. The small bird had settled herself onto a low branch but the moment he begins to move towards the stranger she flies to him and quickly but gently lands upon his back. Miykael folds his wings loosely at his sides and steps lightly, his long limbs carrying him quickly - though without haste - to the stranger. "Hello there!" he calls out once he is within earshot. He continues towards her until he is a comfortable distance away. "Mind if I join you?" he asks, blue eyes searching her - as it is clear now that she is, in fact, a female and a unicorn - for any signs of friendliness or hostility.
