it's what you feel but can't articulate outloud She walked out of the Edge. She didn't want to walk out of the Edge. In fact she didn't even want to leave the Edge. But, she knew she had to if she wanted these herbs. And she needed these herbs. She needed the Peppermint for stress. She needed the Catnip for anxiety and she needed the Blessed Thistle for depression. She needed these herbs. So she moved forward, Valiance to the skies above and pointing out the herbs as she went. Eyes searched for the red-green leaves and the yellow flowers of the Blessed Thistle. And, when they finally found it Valiance dipped down to the patch and began to uproot them from their place before he deposited them into Kahlua's glass basket. Res carefully moved forward, having put the glass basket down only a few feet away from her. Meanwhile, she was searching for the peppermint, her eyes scanning across for smooth, toothed green leaves with their lilac flowers. Her golden eyes scanning, searching, her limbs flying. Her mind pleading. She needed to relieve her stress. She needed to feel better. She needed to be better. If she wanted to ever be able to do anything for her family again then she needed these herbs and she needed to be better. She just wished that she could always be better. She just wished that she would not be seen as weak and useless. She wished that they wouldn't look at her like she was useless again. Though, one would suppose that not noticing the stag in the same area as her would be considered useless. And, of course, she didn't notice him. "Not useless. Perfect." Valiance insisted as she scoffed. If only others actually thought that. |
