R I C O C H E T - - raise your GUN and it's over

The company here was in little favor of Ricochet's point of a view, a signal from the twin brothers a pointed sign of that. Snorting dismissively Ricochet turned away from the mother and babe, teeth barely cutting back his anger as it festered on his tongue like an itch that needed to be spoken.

"May she continue to be..." Ricochet spoke flatly in response to Smoke speaking of her health, yet there was a shadow of a threat to the tone in which he uttered it. Likely only she would catch it and know its true heart, though his dislike was plain enough, as was his restraint.

Sighing in exasperation Ricochet turned and abruptly departed, dog at his heels and sister left to come or stay. She certainly seemed content enough to snuggle with the freak and he worried that Smoke had corrupted her too much too soon.
