They say time changes everything but does it really apply to everything? Does time change what the heart feels each time it beats or the air we breathe? How about the deep pain of betrayal, does that change as the years move forward? The answer would really depend on who was giving the answer and their viewpoints in life. A raging maniac for instance would likely say that things are constantly changing with each second that they manage to focus coherently enough to make sense of it all. For this stallion time did indeed change things but not always in your favor. Sure we all grow wiser, stronger and mature but in the same sense we also grow weaker.

Gliding down through the trees the pegasus finally touches down to see where the wind had carried him this time. Scanning the area cautiously for anything that may pose a danger he draws his wings back to his body with a soft sigh as his muscles respond with the same old stiffness. It had been some time since he had flown this distance without pain blossoming deep within his joints to put a stop to his flight instantly. While all his physical injuries had healed since the accident there were still many deep within that would never heal completely. The hurricane had nearly taken his life but by some miracle he had survived only to lose more in the days that followed. Believed dead from his plummet to earth his family had moved on without him only to die shortly afterwards. His brother had murdered them and then fled the land for greener countryside where no one would know his name. Unfortunately for him someone knew of his past life and was coming for him.

Moving forward with a hitch to his gait the black soldier tread carefully for this new place could hold many unpleasant surprises for the unprepared. While he had no freaking idea where the hell he was he had to keep moving if he ever wanted to find his brother. It was likely harder than finding a needle in a hay factory but he would find him if it was the last thing he did.
