He would stare upon her with no reason to trust either it would appear. By his look, she decided he must have been older than her, often telling of those who carried less years and wisdom better ways. Something was hardened to the silver stallion, but she could not say what. There was no way to know the past, the life of a stranger without hearing their story. Taking a breath, and releasing the use of another, she let it slowly slide from her nostrils. She was trying to be indifferent, and friendly to a point. Would this be hard or easy?

His deeper tone responded, and she nodded her head with titled ears. while her silver irises would indirectly take him in with a closer look. Coat was a very pristine kind of silver, yet she was sure she saw marks from battle. Nicks that could have been from anything, she did not want to stare too close. Looking up she couldn't help but catch the spiderweb marking, it was a bright white much like his mane. Dark brows would deep merely out of questions it brought to her mind. Quickly as the edges above her eyes had crinkled it would smooth, her intelligent eyes meeting his golden pair. It was clear she was more attentive to his words than she had been at first. "Ah," she would utter as she had not much to say to that.

Politely he offered a name, but more surprisingly dipped his head in the same manner. It had never been done to her by the likes of his species, and much as when Leander had done it, it threw her off. The red maned lady hid it well beneath her dark mask. Helovia was strange to her, and the ways of both Equine and Pegasus, but the unicorn was not ever to let those facts known. It was better to go with the flow, if nothing were abnormal for her. Even better, it was probably a good thing for Faelene, to know the past wouldn't have to be part of her future.

"Faelene," she would offer with a smile working it's way to the edge of her lips. Being pleasant would not be hidden in her blackened hide. A cast of her wet tail she would add, "I came from a place with such water, but soon it became poisoned and I greatly missed the chance to swim." There was a sad hint to her tone when she glanced back to the blue water, letting her memories be hers. When she would look back to the stallion any somberness was gone. She really did smile, though her face would become curious. "You travel a lot?" A question she thought was not to prying, but enough to help her not stand there like a dope staring.
