"But it isn't a bear."

The girl's voice rained down from the tree branch in which she sat. She was in her raven-form, as she usually was these days, although she was clearly discernible based on the starkly contrasted white skull markings that lined her avian skull. The girl adjusted her black wings against her small body, as her head titled back and forth as she peered down at the pair below. She knew many had these sort of bonds. Her mother had a dragon, Aly had an owl .. the boy in the forest had a dragon, and a whole host of others she had seen during her Father's trials had strange animals following them around as well. It was apparently common place in these lands to be connected with someone else, although the girl failed to see the desire, or the mechanics behind how it happened.

However none of that detracted from her original thoughts on what was occurring below. The creature was definitely not a bear. Why give it a name that it couldn't help but fail to live up to?

"It's a dog." Then, just in case she was somehow mistaken she added: "Isn't it?"

The girl had seen Daemyn around the Edge. He held some sort of .. fighting position. She wasn't entirely sure how the ranks worked, she was only clear on the ones that her mother dictated. From the little she had learned, it seemed that Kahlua was not in charge of the fighting-side of the herd. It was as if the herd politics were somehow compartmentalized. Perhaps that was wise.

This was the first time she had ever spoken to the silver bay, and, in typical fashion, the girl did not bother to introduce herself or say hello. She knew that most in her herd viewed her as strange due to the fact that she aged faster than children her age, and had still left her name undecided. Not to mention she was the offspring of a God.
