Lloyd grazed lazily, happily chewing the sweet grass he had found on his patrol (which he was admittedly slacking off from). His head shot bolt upright suddenly, as he heard a faint voice on the wind...the herd was being threatened. He stamped a hoof in annoyance and turned on the spot, setting off at a brisk trot in the direction of his herd to find out the plan.
The 'Qian' as they called themselves, would never take these lands, nor would any filthy equine or winged rat, even if it meant a war, and Lloyd was sure almost everyone else in the herd shared his view. The prospect of war became increasingly more likely as Lloyd moved through the trees. An unnatural smell hung in the air, and as he inhaled he could smell the many mingled scents of different horses. When Mauja said at the Conscripts meeting that they would need to spar and train, he was certainly right.
