Bughorns seems to be much more calm compared to Stripey, which is strange considering how this whole adventure started out. She even advises Haruki to avoid charging Stripey. Now, I don't think Haruki would have gone so far, but it was a reasonable assumption, and sound advice. Neither provide me a name to call them by - so be it, but don't throw a temper tantrum when I call you something of my own design! Stripey goes on to scold me again and this time I've had enough. I'm polite enough to listen to every word she says, a strange fire burning in my small golden eyes. When she finally finishes, I have a go at her. "What is clear to me is that you do not know the first thing about being polite. I have offered you no insult and yet you are sensitive enough to find yourself insulted!" I steam, and Haruki bares his little teeth at her. "I have had enough with your scolding!" Were my vocabulary more advanced perhaps the word 'patronizing' would have been more appropriate. "My name is Tempe, Miss. And should we ever meet again I am sure I will not care what your name is because you have made it plenty clear that befriending you is not worth my time." My still-growing tail slashes through the air with fury, while Haruki's five seem to do some sort of unfortunate wag. "I am sorry to have met you, for you seem to be so.. so.. RUDE AS FUCK!" I shout the word that I think Bughorns (I should rename her) has taught me and might be something she didn't mean to teach me. A small twitch at the corner of my lips as an exhilaration runs through me as experienced by every child saying something they know they shouldn't. I turn my attention back toward Bughorns (but what should I call her instead? Bughorns is kinda catchy), not catching the exchange about man or woman. "I am sorry to have interrupted your adventure, it was quite fun while it lasted. Have fun with your weapon." I speak sincerely and apologetically. My words are heartfelt and should the tiger-marked mare not have been so horrible (when uncalled for!) I might have lingered and continued with the party, the fun. But now I just want to leave, and after saying my goodbye, I let Haruki up between my wings and take off, soon taking flight to leave this fouled gathering.
