Replacement was apt, and had Mesec used the word the girl would happily have agreed. She had no idea that perhaps she should feel resentment or some sort of need to win approval given that she was the second child of the Earth. Yet she didn't. "I find it odd to think of me as his sister. We were never alive at the same time ... but I suppose yes, I am his sister. Sister of the Earthsinger." Ah! Maybe that is what she would tell people when they asked who she was. She was the only other descendant of the Earth God, and so Sister of the Earthsinger would only ever refer to her. Perfect! It bought her more time to decide on a name for herself.

As Mesec indicated that he was the child of the Moon, her golden eyes glimmered with curiosity and intrigue. In fact the girl revered his mother, which if known, many would probably think was strange. But the earth-child did not. It was because of what the Moon did, and of course what Hototo did, that she should be alive. Without the sacrifices (yes, the girl thought of what the Moon did as a sacrifice) of both, she would never have been created. She literally owed them her life. "I have met your Mother. She is very impressive and wise." The girl said, flashing a smile that seemed horribly misaligned given her statement. How could anyone think the Moon was wise after all the murders she had recently committed?

The girl did.

Her eyes darted to Mesec's hooves as flowers bloomed around him. Although they were not open, the girl could appreciate the delicate magic that breathed them into being. It made her smile widen. "Beautiful." She whispered, savoring the way the petals huddled close together, only revealing what they truly were under the light of the Moon. It was fitting for the dark stallion, and in a way the girl was jealous. Everyone could see what she was, regardless of the light she was in. Even in her raven form her face was marked by death. There was no hiding, not for the girl.

Reaching behind her wing she pulled out a small acorn on a chain. Using her other wing she tried to create a sort of tunnel - using her wings to block out the sun so that the magic the small trinket possessed was clear. Her feathers shimmered gold as a small pulse of light was given out by the item. Yet it did not bring a smile to her face that way that Mesec's blossoms had.

[Insert doing her magic]

Pride might be what she was feeling now. It was hard to say. The range of emotions that flushed through her system were minimal at best. She viewed the world through a lens unclouded by emotion, however as many would tell her, that was no way to view it at all. Still, the girl only knew what she knew. And she liked this feeling. Nodding, she focused and tried again although this time she looked at the flowers Mesec had created. The earth under them rumbled slightly, and the girl conjured up an image of the dragon that constantly accompanied Kahlua. The earth rose slowly, as if some sort of dragon had been lumbering beneath it and was now simply getting up from a nap. Composed entirely of the earth, the dragon looked ... almost right. Exactly the sort of thing you'd expect from a child trying to reproduce one by memory. It lumbered a few steps as bits of grass and earth fell from it, until it was more or less stable. Concentrating the girl looked down at one of the flowers. The dragon reached forward with a rough-looking clawed paw and plucked out. Raising, it presented it to Mesec.
