Traveling back from the Veins of the Gods, the half-child has separated himself from his sister, delving into thought and mystery, once again falling to categorizing plants and taking note of the different ways that they twist and grow, as though each has some code telling it which was to turn and which way to fall. Perhaps if he studies enough of them, categorizes enough of their leaves and roots and stems, he will finally find some way to understand life just a little better. For now, he still does not understand their mysteries though, and he continues to forge onward with his scientific endeavors.Looking up from a particular plant he has been making note of, sharing comments with Tobias as needed, the half-child is all but shocked to see a scene unfold before him. Gnome-like creatures he has never known before are being assaulted by ravens, grasping packages that they dare not let go, begging for help from… him? The half-child tilts his head, wondering what he should do, when suddenly a familiar mare appears from the air, landing on the ground and beginning to flap her wings. Oh yes, he knows her. She had dared to try and shoo Erebos and him from the caves, to chase them off for fear that they would drown, as though they were unable to make decisions for themselves. Snorting at the very idea, the half-child nevertheless finds himself interested in what the gnome have in their packages that they would defend so fiercely. Looking to Tobias for confirmation that he should act, the half-child eventually steps forward and lowers his head, daring to try something that he had done on accident once before. Feeling a warm sensation in his body, the surgeon throws his head upwards, eyes looking eagerly towards the pack of ravens that he had been aiming at, wondering if he would see lacerations upon their bodies like he had the time he had met the yeti.
