It was a quiet morning and indeed it had been quite uneventful. Wynter had left early to hunt and had long since returned to her side. The two wondered purposelessly through The Basin, pausing at odd times to inspect things or bicker with each other. Honestly, Arah adored Wynter and she knew that her bonded cared deeply for her but sometimes she could just about strangle the griffin. Turning away from the argument about Arah's daughters and what she should be doing with them, the fae princess began to make her way over to the hot springs.

Sinking into the tepid waters, Arah enjoyed the feeling of the water lapping over her legs and the sides of her stomach. Here was were she enjoyed relaxing after long journeys or particularly stressful days. Often she found it hard not to dose off, today was no different, relaxing in the heat Arah found her mind wondering, daydreams taking over. A screech sounded above her with brought Arah crashing back to earth with a rather shocked expression. "Brat." Turning away from her bonded, the doe exited the waters and shook off the excess water, wondering through The Basin in the morning sun was just as relaxing. Wynter landed beside her, deciding to keep pace with the doe on the ground.

Golden orbs studied the open field, they came to rest upon a figure who appeared to be relying upon a tree rather heavily. After a few more moments of scrutinising the figure, the fae princess finally recognised who it was. A grin spread across her chops at the sight of him. Picking up her pace the doe hurried over to Ulrik, yet as she got closer a worry began gnawing at her stomach. That worry seemed to worsen with every step she took, the more nervous she was for him as the distance between them lessened.

His usual sleek black coat was covered in sweat, the doe didn't know much about illness of the rest of his symptoms but she guessed a fever had taken him. Looking rather queasy and uncertain the doe was fairly certain that her own facial expression mimicked his uncertainty. Coming to a stop beside him, Arah stared for a moment wondering what an appropriate thing to say was. "Ulrik?" No. That didn't help at all. Frowning Arah leant forward to get a closer look at him, wondering what she should do. Honestly, she was almost completely useless in moments like this. At least she kept a cool head. "Should we get Lena? I'll send Wynter." The griffin clicked her beak a few times as if confirming this statement. Arah took another step closer, ready to catch him should he take a sudden tumble. Concern pained her delicate face, her golden eyes never strayed from him for though. 'Nach mar sin anois go leor, tá sé?' Wynter's smug voice sounded through the bond, the doe sighed and responsed without sparing a single glance for her companion. 'Éist suas cleite inchinn.
