GOLDEN
A barricade of stone in the north, mountain fortresses, had been home to creatures only whispers and rumors knew. Deep within the halls, entrances long lost to mortals, held both friend and foe - an entire ecosystem of the underground which rarely saw the light of day. Years past without sound. But today a special beast deep in the mountain, urged by the heat of tallsun, stirred. Black smoke billowed on the horizon, calling your attention - for when did snowy mountains puff like fire? The journey through the narrow passes with loose, treacherous rock was dangerous, and you barely made it to the source of the smoke. There, a tiny hole gave a view to the underworld beneath, but the image was hazy from the choking smoke. Still, you manage to see on a lip just beneath the hole, an egg, and it is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen. Its golden surface lays hidden, deep within an shadow and obviously forgotten. Nests of multi-colored eggs were well taken care of below, but this one is covered in dust - abandoned. Though well within sight of the massive, albino beast inside, she ignores it completely, though one, red eye remains trained on you and your interlopers with suspicion. She cares not for the golden orb, cast aside, but she will devour any who comes close to the rest of her gems. Thus, you have a conundrum. How do you enlarge the hole? How do you fish out the egg? Certainly, you can work together if you will, for the prize that lies at the end of this challenge is worth the struggle. Helovia is having it's first ever golden dragon drop! You must be an equine or an equine hybrid to bond to the egg, but you can participate no matter what species you are. This is a hybrid dice/task-based drop! The first task is to find a way to make the hole bigger and fish out the egg. But beware of the dragon inside! You have 72 hours to reply to this drop to be considered. (You do need to have a dragon on your wishlist though~ or a companion of some kind! Normal drop rules apply) |
