With the heat of Tallsun in full swing and the temperature hovering at an all time high the grey mare finds herself seeking some relief. There had been very few times that she had chosen to venture willingly up to the northern lands but right now she only wanted to get cooler. The further north she travelled thankfully the cooler it became until she was no longer a large hunk of hot meat slowly cooking under the heat of the sun. Sighing in contentment she gazed around wondering what all she could do up here in the cooler climates of Helovia. A flash of light drew her attention as she squinted against the glare to discover a dragon and his bonded galloping across the plains. From their pace she could tell they were on a mission, but what exactly? Flipping her head to clear her forelock from her face she took off after the pair to see what all was going on.

Keeping her distance so not to seem as if she was following the pair she cantered along until the small gathering came into view. Slowing her pace only as she neared her eyes scanned the scene picking out the important details as they became available. The hole was at the forefront of everyone's attention as they tried to figure out a way to rescue the brilliant egg that seemed to be just out of reach. Observing the efforts for a moment so not to step on anyone's toes she makes her way over to the group trying to dig at the hole to help. "Please allow me to help anyway I can." She commented nodding politely to each in turn. She had done her fair share of digging in Res's garden surely that experience could be of help here. Being careful not to hinder the dragon's attempts at squeezing down the hole she turned to the mare trying the cloak. "Perhaps the cloak might work better when we manage to widen the hole? We don't want to accidently push the egg back farther out of our reach." She suggested trying to be conscientious of everyone's efforts equally.

Finding a spot that had not already been taken she begins to strike out at the hard earth to clear it away with her front hooves. The hardness of the ground definitely was making this progress much slower what if they tried to soften the ground first she wondered silently. The cool temperatures natural to this area would mean that the ground would be frozen... but something like heat could warm it to make it less resistant to being moved. Her fire...that could work! Plus dragons usually seemed to like the heat. "I'm going to try and heat the earth to melt the ice within. It might make it easier to move once its thawed." She commented glancing up to make sure that no one was in her direct vicinity. Setting someone on fire was definitely not on her to do list. Reaching out for her magic she smiled as the familiar warmth sprang to life lighting her skin with brilliant blue flame. Turning her attention back to the hole she lowered her muzzle to the side of the small hole watching as the fire slowly melted away the ice. She tried not to think about the possibility of getting to raise this poor little creature but she couldn't help but hope.

Summary: Taking into consideration everyone's current ideas she starts trying to help manually dig out the hole. Finding that the dirt is frozen she decides to try and melt the ice within to make it easier to shovel out.
