The white dragon, tint of her scales faded from years underground, growled as the hole was opened wide, and she expelled fire from her jaws. Fortunately, Tandavi, Natraj and his moonstone were safe. Her clever light lowered into the hole helped protect the egg from damage during the scuffle. Eurybe offered her cloak, which Abraham was, perhaps, a bit too eager to cast aside. Still, his dragon helped with the final bit of dirt in the way. Luckily, Cerin was there to stamp it all down as the egg was lifted out in the cloak, newly healed by Tandavi's powers. The four escaped the wrath of the white dragon who clawed her way through the hole, exhaling another powerful breath and glaring at those who disturbed her peace and her eggs. She sneered, withdrawing moments later once she was sure she had burned a few of the troublemakers. Flames had separated Abraham, Cerin, Eurybe and Tandavi from the rest of the group, the egg quietly in their care. But no song touched the hearts of those who gathered, the little orb remaining undecided. Having been abandoned for so long, the egg needed warmth to coax it from its lethargy. Though, the warming could not simply be the application of fire. The heat needed to be applied slowly and for a longer period of time, and based on your instincts, having seen baby birds and mothers, you know what needs to be done.
