Eurybe felt a wave of relief as she managed to pull the egg up, despite the efforts of the white dragon. She doesn't hold it against the creature, whether it be greed or maternal instinct that drove it. When she pulled the cloak up she shoved herself up to her feet and carefully moved the egg away, as the dragon beneath unleashed a plume of flame. She carefully placed the egg on the ground and stared down at it affectionately, despite the chaos around her. One of the others called for them to make a best. Eurybe nodded her head and she watched as others took action. The white dragon tried to encircle the egg, while another individual made a pot. Her eyes went to the flames around them and back at the pot. She carefully pulled out several strands of her hair to place into the pot.
Then she carefully went to lift the cloak, trying not to disturb the egg or
dragon inside, she sought to place the pair into the pot. "Let's inch it closer to the flame." Eurybe said. "Getting it closer will help speed up the process with both the cloak, grass, and the dragon's flame." Eurybe carefully nudged at the pot, not waiting for the others to act. She was gentle and only sought to move it inch by inch, so not to disturb the egg or knock over the lot itself. Then she stepped back and watched the egg in silence, praying that it'd only hatch.
