"Dangerous is more fitting, I believe." Aviya's words were smooth as she sided the stallion that towered above her. She had been watching the engineer work his magic from afar and for quite some time. It never ceased to amaze her the power that her unicorn counterparts held, and she thrived on it. She admired the power and devoured it like a hungry beast on a rampage. She turned her head and breathed in his scent some--it was metallic and rugged like the hulking creatures (if one could call them such) that he created. Silvery blue eyes looked up to his carefully and beautifully flecked eyes and she nodded, looking back to the sentinels. "You have aided our home well." She spoke frankly and simply, unawares of how to truly give voice to what she felt. Through her heartless exterior--and interior--there was a part of her that cared (in her twisted way) for those that were as dedicated as she, and Ulrik happening to be one of those. In his moment, she revelled in his coltish excitement and awe at the display of his abilities.

The doctor's daughter had known the Engineer for the majority of her life. He was a participant in the most righteous of causes--a band she was born as royalty into--and one she desperately yearned to rise from the ashes. In knowing him, Aviya always thought him a very capable stallion, one she could admire with his strength and tenacity for his work. She turned to him again, slightly, though glanced up at him in a sideways manner. "Tell me how it works?" She asked, tail giving a flick towards him. She hoped it brushed over his hind leg and sparked him to conversation.

Chance is the only game I play with, baby
We let our battles choose us
