Somehow Query managed to be leading the pack...for a bit anyways, she wasn't sure if she'd hold her lead, especially with Rishima coming up behind her fairly quickly.
She wasn't used to having to run this much, and was starting to wear down a bit already. "Come on ol' girl, you can do this." She spoke aloud mostly to herself rather than anyone in general.
She continued running through the thick foliage that was the Deep Forest, which she did with little difficulty, and then the land started getting colder the further north she got, closer to the Frostbreath Steppe.
She decided that she had better slow herself down a bit to keep her stamina from running out. This whole running in snow thing was really new to her. Yeah, she had experienced snow and it's coldness before, so she wasn't really bothered by it, especially with all the running that she was doing. In fact, she kinda found it to be a bit of relief from the scorching heat that was Helovia's Heart.
She dared to take a glance back to see a few others not too far behind her. This was gonna be a really tough race for the white mare with the '?' mark on her face.
