Ktulu
Ktulu was not so lighthearted as Lakota as the pair traveled from the forest to the veins. She could not shake the feeling that they had forgotten something, but she could not remember what it was. As the days passed by and their steps brought them farther and farther from the forest and closer to the veins the feeling grew more intense. The Constrictor, however, did not mention her concerns to Lakota. She knew that the pair of them had brought nothing to the forest with them, not even their companions. She glanced down at Eytan, who had returned to her along with Aoduan to Lakota, when they had left the forest. 'You're bothered.' the bear said as he turned his caramel eyes upward. "Yes." She answered, watching Lakota and Aoduan as they moved ahead of them. "I feel we've forgotten something." She just wished that she could remember what it was that they were forgetting.

"We have completed your task. Please hold council with us."

The dark mare was silent as she waited for the Earth God to answer Lakota's call and when he didn't she frowned. There had to be a reason he wasn't answering them. "Lakota." She spoke her mate's name, moving to stand beside her. "How many tasks did we complete?" She questioned. "You were a fish and I was a hawk, that was one. Then you were a tiger and I was a fawn in the second. The third you grew wings and a horn. And the fourth..." Her voice trailed off as she was very nearly slapped in the face as she remembered what they had forgotten. "We forgot the fourth task."

How foolish could the pair of them be to forget part of their quest?

"Eytan." Ktulu turned to her companion as she spoke his name. "You and Aoduan should get to a safe distance and wait." There was no way for the two mares to know if the Earth God would be angry that they had come back early and turn them both into something ridiculously dangerous for their final task, should he even allow it. "We are ready for our final task." She ammended Lakota's previous request.
