A whirlwind of images suddenly flashed around Ktulu - all that Lakota had seen and experienced were made known to the unicorn. The child, the lava and the fire, Lakota's choice.
For both Lakota and Ktulu to see, the phantom child began to glow. Its body was filled with light, pouring and surging through every opening. Its violet eyes became pure starlight, as its body became beautifully translucent. The light pulsed so brightly that the child became invisible, completely wrapped up within the blinding and binding light. Consumed whole, the light diminished suddenly leaving only a glistening point of starlight. It rose above Lakota, twirling around her for a moment, before doing the same to Ktulu. It wavered for a moment, casting glistening shapes of light onto the Constrictors back, before returning to the blue equine. There it pulsed for a moment, before descending into Lakota, and filling her with the same warm light that the child held only moments before.
Lakota was pregnant.
