Time and again, Alleo had prayed to Laima for some sort of sign to point him in the right direction because he felt as if his life were wasting away. Day after day, patrol after patrol he felt as if he were losing himself. He was not some mindless drone to be instructed to complete some mindless task and, yet, he was. So as he stood watching as the Edge leaders returned with Midas he found himself praying again, asking Laima for some sign to tell him that it was okay to leave the Falls and go to his sister. His prayer was answered in the form of the ground shaking, followed shortly after by an attack from ARCHIBALD and KAHLUA. An invasion? She'd answered him with an invasion? Why? Chaos ensued and Alleo stood still as stone, looking at the fighters as the seemed to come from every direction. "LAKOTA!" He shouted for his sister, automatically assuming that she would be there. She was a strong fighter physically, mentally, and in her heart. There was no way that she would miss a battle so she had to be there and the protective instinct that he still held for her drove him into the fray to find her.


"LAKOTA!" Again, he shouted for her as he maneuvered through the invaders. There was no point in him trying to draw as little attention to himself as possible. He was tall, he was muscular, he was a warrior and he would be a target. The only thing he could do was find Lakota as quickly as possible and take his place by her side once more because he could not fight against his sister. No. On the day she was born he had promised himself and her that he would protect her until his dying breath. It made no matter to him if she attacked his home. She was his blood and he was hers. They would stand side by side on the battlefield, their blood would intermingle and paint a portrait of their devotion.

If they fell they would fall together.

A mare laden in heavy armor targeted him and his ears fell back against his head. "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" He roared at the mare. He jerked his head back as she aimed her front hooves at his face. Luckily, for him, he had seen it coming and had jerked his head back far enough that only the tip of a hoof scraped across his cheek. He did not have the time to for some petty fight with a mare who mattered little to him. He snapped his teeth at her, a warning, before he tried to shove past. The stallions mismatched eyes were wide as he searched the battlefield and when he finally saw her he almost didn't recognize her. Were it not for the orange beads in Lakota's mane he would have thought she was another unicorn targeting their medic.

"Lakota." He breathed as he galloped toward her. There were no more prayers to be prayed to his goddess, she had already answered him by thrusting him into a battle that would force him to make a choice. And he had. As Alleo joined with LAKOTA he turned toward the medic, KIARA and aimed to bite at her neck and try to hold her in place for LAKOTA'S attack.

Alleo stood watching ARCHIBALD, KAHLUA, and MIDAS until the attack began. Once the battle started he started looking for LAKOTA. He is targeted by SIALIA and he manages to stop in time so the tip of her hoof scrapes across his cheek. He then finds LAKOTA and joins her in attacking KIARA.
