Wake The White Wolf At The Dawn Of War



Hawke turned his head to look at the girl that approached, his vivid-blue gaze going straight to the giant bird on her back first. Hades, however, was far more curious about the dragons, and watched them with his intense gaze, head tilted to the side.

When the gold snapped at Hawke, all chick hell broke loose. The owlet rocketed itself towards the gold, hooked beak gaping wide, a shrill scream akin to a bomb falling tearing from a body seemingly too small to hold such a sound. At the same time Hawke jerked, pulling Hades away unintentionally as he reared, anger and confusion flooding his veins like hot fire, and he tossed his head with a squeal, whites of his eyes flashing.

Something broiled within the boy's chest, a pressure that needed release. With a scream from both boy and owl, raw, uncontrolled magic exploded from the mousy-brown colt, aimed at the one who had caused the distress; Abraham. It was an insidious magic, weakening the foundations of his being, his bones. Hawke, however, wasn't aware of this, too far lost in the churning confusion and anger of his childish thoughts, trying to untangle the owl's anger from his own mind, and he shook his head repeatedly, pawing at the earth.

Finally he managed to sort it out, and turned his head to nip gently at the owlet, a frown on his normally blank features. Day by day their bond strengthened, but the boy still found it hard to distinguish his mind from the chick's. Situation resolved(or so he believed), Hawke looked back at the two, mishap seemingly forgotten as he pranced back over, ears pricked.

"Speech."
